Elastomet
Rubber is often the best available material for sealing. But it has limited mechanical properties. To be able to use rubber without the danger of blowout, a metal reinforcement is used in the core of our Elastomet. This way it can be used in applications up to 40bar.
Depending on the rubber the Elastomet is used in (potable)water, gas and oil applications, piping for utility, but also in light chemical applications. Because of the low surface pressure required it is also suitable for glass lined, plastic or ceramic piping.
The Elastomet is available in EPDM, NBR and FPM. Upon request we can supply CR and CSM.
